Our first versions of ruggedized power inverter and UPS (uninterruptible power supply) with built-in power conditioner suitable for the rugged demands of military use were supplied to the U. S. Army through the CHS1 and CHS2 (COTS) programs. Our latest versions, enhanced with greater power ratings and added features without sacrificing any of their necessary ruggedized qualities, are being supplied to a joint Lockheed-Martin Missile Systems and Raytheon anti-missile project (THAAD).
In addition to versatile configurations of ruggedized military UPS, power inverter, and power conditioner, CTI also offers an automatic power switch and LAN communications media converter modules. The automatic power transfer switch will switch a load to an alternate source of AC power automatically when the primary AC power source fails. The LAN fiber-optic to copper multichannel communications media converter modules also provide an electronic emissions barrier for a protected environment. Both of these products are designed to meet the demands of a rugged military or industrial environment.
